Privacy
Here at TheOnlinePhoneBook.com we take your privacy very seriously.
We are comply to the laws of the UK (Data Protection Act 1998) and as we hold no personal data on you we are confident we adhere to international laws.
We do not store any data from your own or your friends facebook accounts apart from encrypted user ids which contain no personally identifiable information.
What that means is, we don't see "Joe Blogg's Mobile = 02342387628", what we see in our database is more like "a$ow(hr*o Mobile = 02342387628". So sleep easy, we don't know your number, we aren't going to sell it, and no-one is going to steal it!
When we store phone numbers we only store the one you type in and only give it out to your facebook friends who you have ticked can have it. If you just want to view the numbers of your friends who have let you see theirs you don't even need to provide us with a phone number.
In order to make sure you are logged into facebook and that your details are secure we store a cookie on your machine. No personally identifiable information is stored in these cookies and they expire either when you log out of this site or log out of facebook directly.
We will NEVER share your details with any third party or other organisations with which we are connected except where we are required to by law.
Users should note that while we make every effort to ensure the details you provide us with (aka your phone number) are secure we are not responsible for any security breaches that may occur. The facebook API (how our site talks to facebook) is currently in BETA and thus so is this website. BETA software may contain bugs or flaws which have yet to be discovered. As such you use TheOnlinePhoneBook.com at your own risk.
